Why add Valerian Root?

A third of cats, mostly females, do not respond to catnip alone. The ability to react is based on a genetic receptor. More cats have the ability to react to valerian root.

How To Use Loose Leaf Catnip Blend

Toy Rejuvenator

If kitty has a favorite toy, pop it in a container with some of the loose leaf. Seal the container and let it sit overnight. The fresh scent of the catnip and valerian root will rejuvenate the toy.

Valerian root acts similar to catnip when sniffed, but it has stronger and longer lasting effects.
